Last day of Kindergarden..sniff, sniff... It was a bittersweet kind of day, I'm guessing the rain didn't help. I think the kids felt it too. I had to laugh, when the teacher let the parents in to take a group picture, they were all in formation...without a smile to be seen! I don't know if they were all so tired, that they didn't have the energy to be excited, or they were actually sad that it was over.
This is a picture I took yesterday, while I was waiting for the boys to return from a pit stop. I love signs...especially if they are all peely, and grungy.
Today, we went for a nice drive through the country, to our one of our favourite spots along the river. There is a nice, sandy beach - perfect to play in.... most of the time. Apparently, the river is exceptionally high, and there were no nice sandy beaches to be seen. The water was actually lapping into the parking lot. Oh, well it was a nice day for a drive!
